After an AP verto clutch. Not interested in which one, or the friction plate, I just need a servicable pressure plate and back plate and MUST be the AP veriety.

Can collect at MITP. Otherwise I'll be trapesing through the Jumble for one, likey without much luck.

Thanks

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Now this is where the terminology gets a bit messy *tongue*

I consider the back plate the part of the 'clutch' that is a ~6mm thick pressed steel plate that the taper boss or center is bolted to, and the spring and pressure plate are riveted to.

I consider the pressure plate as the part that applies the pressure to the friction plate, and as such is one of the friction surfaces.

The big heavy bit that has the ring gear is the flywheel and the other friction surface

The friction plate is the friction plate

:)

I've got one. Don't know if it's AP. No obvious markings on it. How can you tell?

Last request before I bite the bullet and buy a new one. Does anyone have an AP verto kicking about they may be persuaded to part with?

No? OK

Now if anyone says they have one I can have after I have bought a new one, I'll beat you to death with it!! *happy*

Now sorted, got one from Mini and Metro Spares for £14.50.

Does anyone have a spare green spring?
