My wife obtained a 3.2 fd for use in her GT, but on cleaning and giving it a good dose of looking at, there is pitting on just over half the teeth down at the root.
As these are relatively difficult (and expensive) to get hold of, I'm wondering two things:

Is it reusable as is ?
Can I turn it round and effectively use the other side ?

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

that has had some wear ....caused by infrequent oil changes or none in its past.

i suspect any measurable power- torque put through it will fail but for a N/A engiine it wil be fine
turn it round like carl says

i have spare 3.2 CWP if you want one please PM me *smiley*

Thanks for the replies guys - it is much as I assumed, but always reasssuring to have a few more o"pinion"s...

I'm also guessing that a 1312 N/A with a Longman GT7 and SW5 won't be reaching your measurable power mark !
