I've removed the tabs off the underside of my mini to reduce the chance of rust & to move the fuel/battery/brake lines inside to protect them & keep them clean.

Just want to see where they enter & exit, how they are secured and what pipes you've used.

Cheers!

I use braided fuel ines, as MSA regs and normal brake pipe.

For a road car I trnd to keep everythong out side as it's much easier and stopps people standing on stuff. the race car has it all inside. this is a good idea in rally cars, but for hillclimbing I think it's more to look the part than anything else!

I removed those tabs too. I kept all the fuel lines and bettery cable on the underside, and run the brake line on the inside, since thats the one that is held by tabs on the later cars. The fuel lines use plastic clips anyway.

Northants

If you do run the fuel lines internally, make sure you get Teflon hose as it stops the fumes unlike the normal braided stuff.

Going back to this again.

Shell is back from paint so running these lines is something I need to do first.

Can someone provide a link to the correct fuel pipe? unsure of the required diameter.

Thanks.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

I'm using these clips for brake and fuel lines:

The fuel is going in this stuff:

Standard copper for the brake lines.

That's rubber low pressure hose!

The rubber will 'breathe' fuel vapours, teflon or ptfe lined is what you shoud be looking for, or the car will always stink of fuel. The low pressure hose bit might be ok, but for the extra saft margin, the high pressure fuel injection hose will be better

I hate to keep nagging, but can anyone in the know confirm the above Ebay link is the right stuff for the job?

it says it PTFE (teflon), unless someone's actually bought and used that specific item from ebay, you can only go from the description.

one day boost will be mine!

That seller is a top bloke i have lots of bits off him in the past.

As for that hose you will need to buy His fittings as they are the only ones that work with that hose.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.
