I'm after one of these, can be from any A+ engine, just need it for converting to a cam sensor, a la Paul S.

We have one in a scrap engine, from a 998 A+. It will cost you one pint of Santa Pod's worst lager. That's assuming you are there Saturday, otherwise £200000000. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Hall is probably best nowadays but I have an obsession about not letting 9-12V inside the case (irrelevant in this scenario as MS2 uses an opto isolator on the input anyway). Best solution overall is what Paul is now using, namely a Hall switch behind the timing gear (no dizzy drive required at all). Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

Ah interesting, I already have a Hall switch but I think design could be adapted (a tooth instead of a slot, at 90 degrees to the plate).
