MODIFIED ROVER MINI CABRIOLET

10 months mot
5 months tax
hpi clear, v5 present

genuine factory cabriolet

cooper 1275cc single point injection engine fitted as standard
manual gearbox

60,000 miles on the clock but no service history so can not verify this but engine is in good running order

have owned this car for the past year but due to not getting used much and me needing funds for a motorcycle its got to go

few mods and details -

- painted in porsche gulf orange
- fitted with original bodykit
- ultra clear rear lights
- clear indicators
- new driving lamps in bumper
- new black grill and surround kit
- black door handles all round
- new carbon fibre style 3 clock dash
- el dial kit
- aux gauges fitted (oil/water/volt)
- pool ball gear knob (number 13 orange stripe)

the shell benefits from having the inner sills/strengthening and outer sills replaced about a year back
all the usual places mini's rust like the wings, scuttle, floors, rear valance, doors etc are all solid and rust free, so if looked after will last years

the paintwork has been well done but being used as an everyday car there are a few small scratches but nothing that requires attention

now the only bad bit on the car, there is a small tear in the back window, about an inch big along the top, never bothered me so just taped it up, the roof itself is in ver good order

the stereo fitted will be removed from the car or can be bought / negotiated seperately from the car price

- alpine flip screen headunit
- focal front comp speakers
- focal front tweeters
- focal rear speakers
- focal crossovers
- vibe lite 12" active sub in boot with boot board custom made to match

all speakers and sub were only bought about 2 months back and used a couple of times

since owning the car and using it everyday, used for long journies and a few runs like l2b this year where it completed around 250 miles over 1 day without missing a beat

i will admit i have had a couple of small problems since owning it but all have been fixed and they are as follows -

- leaking master cylinder now replaced with brand new part
- passenger door catch sticking now replaced
- engine stabiliser bracket broke away from bulkhead (replaced with new bracket and fully seam welded in place for extra strength)
- steering column inner has worn splines at bottom, common fault and will be replaced this week

***PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING POINTS BELOW***

* The alloy wheels fitted in pictures will be removed and new 6x12's fitted, or i will take some money off if you bring your own suitable wheels

** the private plate on the vehicle will be removed and will have to await a new age related plate to be supplied, will be going to dvla
local office monday 15th so hopefully this will be provided on the spot if not collection will have to be made when new plate is fitted and tax disc to match

if you have any questions about the car please do not hesitate to get in touch via pm or you can phone me on 07411 027 306 (12pm - 10pm 7 days a week)

£7000ono

viewings available 7 days a week day

located in cheshunt (hertfordshire) which is 5 minutes from junction 25 of the m25

hi, sorry but only for sale to the person who buys the car, if not i'll keep them.

but for reference, they're 4 inch comps front mounted in the cabrio's factory metal under dash speaker pods, and also 5.25 inch comps under rear seat, tweeters dash mounted and crossovers built into glovebox install

Youd make quite a profit if it sells for £7k
considering you bought it for less than 5 *wink*
i'd keep it until next summer and give it a proper go then!

WRLondon - That's not really on mate.

I know how much work has gone into this since Pinhead has had it. It's not my sort of car, but in the flesh it really is a great, straight car.

Good luck with the sale.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I guess it was a bit rude. But as the car has not had interest, it says it is too much money.

just not had interest through this forum. its an extremely clean car the only thing that lets it down is the split in the rear window, most cabbies are worth roundabout that value or more so we'll see how it goes
