Thats just typical of this country, there is a lot of things wrong in this country that need sorting, it'll take a lot more to fix this than a petition, all the shit that the media have been feeding britain for years about the brilliant lavish lives of people on benefits etc, its all bollox that people just beleive because the paper or tv said so, a lot of small mindedness on both sides of this 'riot' there wont be a quick fix to this. The more the punishment for the rioters the more thier back will be put up, so the more they will rebell. Conseervative governments arent know for being tacktful so this wont end for along time. Its not going to end nice thats for sure.

Perfect example of small minded britain, all people taking part in riots MUST be on benefits, there's the first mistake.

I agrree with what below however they HAVE to be punished and punished hard, personally i would like to see a national service boot camp set up they dont get paid but they do get lodging bread and water i think this would benifit many so called louts.
