Tareq , google Hoosier Tire, remember tp spell TIRE not TYRE, they have a worldwide distrubutor section somewhere on there abd go from there,

they wil not sell direct to uk as thye have an agent, but if you have no agent nearby they may deal with you,

or PM turbo dave, and see if he'll do the ordering for you,

NO, the3 formula 500 tyres are only 18" tall,

the hillclcimb/ sprint fraternity use the road race tyres, most use the 7.5x19.5x10, but it is worth noting that of the two sizes Hoosier list,

6.5x19.5x10 and the 7.5x19,5x10, although in the Hoosier spec lists thes etyres show as having the same circumference the 7.5 tyre is quite a bit bigger , and may effect gearing,

tboth these tyres have a much softer wall than the Dunlop racing 490 x10" but appear to give better mechanical grip due to the softer compounds,

the 7.5 tyre needs to go on an 8" rim and run abot 26-28lbs depending on car weight

Cheers Carl, that'll be useful to know for when we want to break the gearbox once it's running right.

Here. I think I dealt with Martin (the mobile number) when I was using them. But since they changed the sizes I stopped using them. and as Carl points ou their guesses on actual size is a joke.

Maybe a good drag tyre, but my car feels MUCH better now on Avons than it ever did on Hoosiers.

Thanks Wil I guess you are running on 13" wheels now.

I might stick with the Dunlops, the track here is very agressive and tire wear is always an issue. I have the Kad 10" x 8" wheels so the 180/490-10" fit perfectly
