In the garage......again!!

The four nuts that bolt the turbo to the manifold, whats the best nuts to use and where can i get them from?, mine seem to have worked their way loose, two have fallen off:( done the search with no results.

133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

those are the sort of things you need, called K nuts apparently but searching for that doesn't yeild many results.

Never used anything but standard stainless metric nuts. Never had one come loose.

They are often called aero nuts in the UK.

You'll get them a lot cheaper by Google rather than eBay.

Avoid stainless if you can, High Tensile steel is a lot better in this location.

i'm the same use stainless nuts and spring washers on the mini without any issues but they work loose on my nissan so swapped for those locking type.

I had stainless on, i think the high temps and differing grades of steel worked them loose, found one of them on the turbo bulhead box, turned blue with heat. I'll bite the bullet and get the proper ones this time, its a right pain to strip apart just to replace them. Once again i'm in your debt gents.
