The four nuts that bolt the turbo to the manifold, whats the best nuts to use and where can i get them from?, mine seem to have worked their way loose, two have fallen off:( done the search with no results. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

Never used anything but standard stainless metric nuts. Never had one come loose. |

i'm the same use stainless nuts and spring washers on the mini without any issues but they work loose on my nissan so swapped for those locking type. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

I had stainless on, i think the high temps and differing grades of steel worked them loose, found one of them on the turbo bulhead box, turned blue with heat. I'll bite the bullet and get the proper ones this time, its a right pain to strip apart just to replace them. Once again i'm in your debt gents. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi
