took the mini out for a spin but it wont run unless the choke is out?

Well if it wants choke to run then that suggests that it is just too lean. If you have just started it everything probably needs setting up. Do you have an AFR sensor, that will tell you need to know? http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Air Fuel Ratio. Commonly called a wide band sensor.

its a 1310 no intercooler just running at standard psi.

i would suggest getting an afr gauge, there are 2 types norrowband and wideband, the wideband are 10x better but the price reflects, but it was the best £130 i ever spent. Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

what does this afr gauge do? i have no idea with this turbo business im on a learning curve

it boosts but it will only run with choke, no choke it doesnt rev well, as for timing i havent changed it since i bought it and it ran fine then |
