As a 90's kid, of course: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2BhESCKniw

and

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J16tDn0N9jU&feature=related
(I know it started in the late 70's, but still remained awesome in the 90's)

Edit - I'll be controversial as well and say the newer 90's theme tune is far better!

There are so many but Grange Hill is certainly one I remember very well, my era was the mid 90s but they used to repeat the 80s ones on a Sunday morning and those are probably the best ones. A few of the series are on Youtube now and I still enjoy watching them, they just wouldn't make a kids TV programme like it today. Thunderbirds was another of my favourites, I was in the age group of children who watched it the second time round when everyone wanted Thunderbirds toys for Christmas. Of course I asked for them but all I got were the plastic ones, my friend had a full set of the die cast ones and his Mum made him Tracey Island, I was very jealous.

As well as all the obvious for someone in their 30s. I distinctly remember watching Friday Film Specials.

Basically, short adventure type films with kids as the leading role. I remember one with RC planes and the Tiger T-shirt one, which was a classic.

Right, loads of classics everyone has missed.

Pigeon Street
Battle of the plannets
Dungeons and dragons
The smurfs
Dempsy and Makepeace
Jimbo
Rent A Ghost
Tickle on the Tum
Inspector Gadget
Camberwick Green
Trumpton
Chigley
Larry the Lamb
Bod
Rhubarb and Custard
Rainbow

and here is one that few will remember, and was the main reason I have an interest in the RNLI. Ennal's Point. Not quite a kids TV show, But I remember the theme tune well. It was always on the TV Friday evening as I was waiting for my lift to the Boys Brigade. Anyone else remember this???
