Just found these,

quite neat apart from the obvious lock issues going through tunnels etc, due to that I can imagine they are not really road legal, but some good features like the 0-60 & 1/4 timers.

Slightly O/T but one of my mates had a Garmin SatNav (this is going back about 5 years) and it had datalogging and a USB port built in so he could download the data after a run and plot it all on the PC, not just route, but speed, acceleration etc.

Don't know if any of the modern ones have that feature built in but it required nothing other than a USB cable and a PC to show the data.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

The Koso digital speedos also do "power tests" you can do 0-whatever speed and distance timers, not sure if it goes up to 1/4 though.

That's smart.

I'm tempted, but think I'll just sort out the dodgy speed sensor on my Acewell instead.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Have a look at the ETB Digidash2, great little thing, it will run off magnets with a speed sensor or you can do the gps upgrade which I've recently done. It uses the GPS for speed camera warnings too.

Shows me everything I need, oil pressure, water temp, oil temp etc Even 0-60 times but I think you need the sensor fitted for that

It just caught my eye, no faffing with cables & ratio's and although its not cheap its the same price as a smiths one,

Northern Ireland

Road legal will require speed and an odometer than cannot be reset. At least not easily
And here in Northern Ireland, the speedo must be dual marked mph and kph, although dont think you guys are fucked with that in England ?

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
