silly question i know but am a bit confsed, remembered when i got the engine i had to change the release bearing and the arm to the long type is this verto? also i undid the 4 or 5 bolts on the first thing you come to when you take the cover off to get the flywheel off is this right, need to get the gearbox off to see if i have bore liners (see my other post) if it helps the flyweel nut seems to be 11/2" or whatever as the 30mm socket i have seems a tad too big, still bloody hard to get off!

I think you really could do with buying a Haynes manual, halfords stock them, get one for the metro, (inc turbo)

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

long type are non-verto but that doesnt mean the clutch is!

grab a haynes off ebay, cheaper than hellfords *smiley*

you'll be able to look all these things up with the aid of photos and it makes things easier.
