Hey,

Does anyone have a spare revolution wheel nut they have lying around that they can measure for me? If you have a locking one that's even better!

I am after two sizes: I am after are the shaft thickness, i.e the part which has an internal thread and which goes through the rim, and the width of the washer where it meets the face of the rim.

Thanks

Do you have the wheels that you want them for. In my experiance there are at least two sizes that revolution make and who knows what the copies are.

I have some wheels and I want locking wheel nuts, but revolution are the only type that will fit (as below) so basically just wanted to see if they would work, rather than spending £20 to find out they are no good!

Carlzilla, is there any chance you could measure a locking one for me? I just need to check that the locking ones will fit as these wheels are not standard revolutions!

I emailed minispares too asking for the sizes so they may get back to me tomorow

Okay so, the washer is between 23 and 24mm wide, from the flat part of the washer (wheel face), the sleeve is 29mm long, the sleeve overall width is 14mm, and from the threaded part to the outside of the sleeve is 2mm in thickness.
Dont take these measurements as gospel, as all i had to hand was a tape measure and adjustable spanner with a measurement on lol.
My wheels are 10x6 revo copies, the revo stuff fits perfectly onto it, and on the one spoke it has what looks like a halal sign that looks like it says JIL on it.
The washer isnt actually a washer by the way, just a flat surface of the nut. if you ask me its better as it gives more resistance to it being undone. although it does shave the paint off slightly, im more worried about the wheels going missing, so its fine by me

Cheers Carlzilla, that's much appreciated, I got all the sizes I need!

They aren't perfect for my application, but will be worth a try :)

Nope they never did, but I don't need their reply now as yours was more than adequate :) The only negative is that the washer/flat face is only 24mm at most, I wanted something around 27!

Yeah i know, its a tad smaller than the washer area on the nuts, but its more than alright tbf. Or buy an extra few nuts and use the washers on them, might do that myself if i can be arsed to.
