right problem number two ! the car will rev though fine when not in gear but when you drive it and it goes to come up on boost it starts to miss, will drive fine not on boost ( under 3200 rpm)

I'd definately start by looking at fuel pressure. It sounds like the float bowl is not pressurising. this could be caused by a blockage in the carb.

I had a similar issue. Dv was sticking open. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

If this is an ERA, have you still got the anti run on valve connected. This can fail to close and cause the problems you describe. |
