I'm looking for seats..

As the garage is 25miles away and I'm not going to be there again until Saturday I was wondering if anyone can tell me how wide the seats can be at the bottom before they start interfering with doors/gear stick/handbrake and how wide they can be at the top and not hit the pillars or meet in the middle...

I know I can just buy some designed for a mini, but when you look at "mini" seats it seems everyone bungs on a few ££. If I have dimensions to work to I can find OEM ones that will fit for less.

Iirc vaux seats fit perfect and they are 19 inch wide, I did have a measure of some scooby seats but they were to wide I think they were around 22/23 inch wide.

ive got some ph1 pug 106 xsi seats to go in my clubby and they seem like they will fit just nice, a bit wider than the vauxhall and the subframes are a bit of a mare to modify but they ARE going in! Lol

I had some Astra GTE Recaros in which just missed the door pillars but unless the seat was well back you wouldn't get reverse gear (not very good for the wife). Really nice comfortable seats but a bit heavy.

It's not the age that makes me creak it's the mileage
