SORTED NOW but will keep here for reference if any one wants it? it was the timing that was out moved a bit and its fine now:) will set up properly again with timing light when it returns! ok for a freind when stationery... foot to the floor (to rev like) it struggles to pick up but once goign (about 2000rpm) it seems fine, when trying to move hardly any power, when its strugling to rev it sometimes gets a big back fire theres a clear vacuum hose on it and you can see it lights up when it does it, tho we tried not to make it do it too much. whats everyones ideas? timing or air leak is our best guesses but have checked all seals and seems fine cant hear air escaping form anywere. but if you take one of the vacuum hoses off it smokes for aaages through the vacuum hose after car stopped running. also the whole engine feels verry hot but temp guage says normal (tho we dont trust it one bit lol) lent timeing light out so cant check that to acuratley. just now so anything we can find without. thanks for any help! its a standard 1275 turbo btw thanks, Dan
