ok, following another thread, wich is best to have, i will be shortly buying one of the 2 wich one is the best to have and would there be any advantage to having both?, if so, the price justifiable to have both?
also, do i just get a normal temp guage or will it have to be a real exhoust gas temp guage, and were to get the sensors?

thanks, Dan

to make things easier it will be best to buy a 'off the shelf' egt gauge if the advice given on this thread leans towards this

as it will come with the right thermocouple for typical exhaust gas temperature, demon tweeks definitely sell them, i think grandprix racewear do too

got a feeling a lambda sensor will be a bit cheaper though, but not much

expense is not important, my engine costs more than an EGT guage/sender i am sure:)
thanks, will check deemon tweeks whilst waiting for resposes

cheers, Dan

I purchased a fuel meter from ebay and a lambda from my local partco and it works a treat.I had to get a nut the right size for the exhaust to screw the lambda into I got that from a local exhaust fitter free from an old exaust.
Cheap efective and reliable so far

AFR is more usful to "most" people...

As EGTs need to be interpertided (sp).

AFR is probably more useful to us and very few are pushing the envolpe of our engines.
