Is there anyone in Brisbane that whould help me build a motor fast road / track

Hi guys I'm wanting to build a fresh motor my 998 just dosent have enugh power for my liking.
I can get my hands on a 1275 standard bore block with a crank witch is reground on the rod jernals i think its the rods that are reground anyway no box or head tho
I've been told he wants $1000 aus for it to much? I think I could get it a few lower tho
I have never built a motor by my self so whould love it if someone in the Brisbane area whould want to help me i dont have the know how = ( I'm aiming for an EFI turbo motor but if funds don't alow I'll have to wait and save or setle for less

I live around the browns plains area

im from brisbane mate. but i get some one else to do my engine work.

im setting up a suprcharged injection 1293.

if i was you i would buy a engine tried & tested on this website.
it's going to be cheaper in the long run..
buy cheap pay twice

plenty of cracking engines for sale on TMF all the time.

im sure you could fly one of us over for a week......

Hmmm I didn't think of buying some one eles motor any ideas of who is selling and what is selling?
I'd love to fly someone down up sideways witch ever direction you live in to Brisbane but I'm an apprentice we all know what apprentice wages are like..

This build if it goes ahead will be a fairly long ordeal as I can only dump so much money into it each week I don't want a motor to last a year and be fooked

+1 for Matt, the advice he gives is endless and really knows his stuff.

But 1275s are boring, turbo a 998 and when it blows up you slot another one in that you get given for free.
