They fix to the crossmember in the standard way, the seat can move forward and back but the base at the back where i welded a bar is not secure. usually it just has two round bases and they were punching their way through my floor so i welded a big bar across to spread the load and put some rubber on it.

i havent had any, but i think i was lucky cause the tester was kneeling on the seat when he was trying to rock it so obviously it wouldnt move. it would be easy to modify it in order to keep it secure? could make a slot in the bar i welded in and have a loop bolted to the floor and put a big r-clip through or something of your choice? not sure but thats what i would have done. |
