hi guys..

i have come to the stage of fitting my clutch to my rebuilt engine, i went for a grey diaphragm and ap racing clutch. i have been reading up on here about getting the spring as flat as possible so was going to take the lugs from the back plate down from the standard 25.4mm to 23.5mm as suggested by turbophil on his site. but i went and measured it, my lugs are already 23mm so the previous owner must have already done this.

so fitted everything up and this is how it sits

its not 100% flat but i think pretty dam close, opinions?

also i noticed these marks on the back plate, i cant feel anything when i run my finger over them, will this back plate go again as is?

here is one of the flywheel which seems fine.

any advice/coments greatly apreciated.

thanks in advance*wink*

put the crank at what position you like, the clutch assembly can only go on one way.
