Hiya,

This is my first post other than the hello thread :)

I got a BK450 headgasket from minispares a month or two ago and it is in the packet which says Belgium.

I understand there was a bad batch from Belgium a couple years ago, does anyone know whether they are still faulty or are the Belgium ones now ok?

Cheers for any info

Struggling to find any dodgy batch codes for them as i have just obtained one from minispares. Surely this issue is resolved now as it was over 2 years ago but be nice to know for peace of mind!!

Interesting that they are all made abroad, so they must of sorted it then if were all getting the same ones otherwise everyones would be failing....

The one I used this year wasn't a uk one and I've had no problems!

If they moved the manufacturing equipment to Belgium, ie, specifically the dies that do the final pressing, the HG itself could still say GB no matter where it was made.

The marking on the HG itself doesn't have to match the marking on the packaging.
