hi all

my turbo is really giving up the will to live now so im looking at alternatives.

aiming for 22ish psi and 200+ bannas.

my mates suggested bolting a turbine of a t3 to a t2 would this work and how easy is it?

i have tried the search function too

cheers eden

mismatching turbo bits is often a PITA,

I suspect what would be easier wpould be attaching a t2 compressor wheel and housing to a t3, but TBH i dont think the t2 is going to supply enough air, or not easily anyway,

GT20 would also be a good bet if you are looking for 200+

well im after somthing that will spool up quick and keep on going and going.

so im open to people whos tried these for the best suggestion.

been put off changing the t3 beacuse of the manifold hassle, but it going to be a winter project

probably better off with the 17 or the td04 then, i think the 20 will spool up fairly late,

IIRC the TDo4 off the std imprezza is a good bet, not the WRX or STI ones, there probably some info on here about it, also I think a TD04 was used on some of the saabs instead of the 17

You can slot the flange on the GT17 so that it fits the metro manifold. You can also cut and shut a 9-3/9-5 downpipe to suit.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
