I want to have a play with zinc plating and am finding it hard to source some zinc, sheet or ingot form. Anyone got any scrap laying around or can suggest a source?

Cheers
Chris

Not a bad price at £57 for everything

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

cheers for the link, not a bad kit but when you think all you need is a bucket, some zinc for the anodes, a power supply, zinc sulphate and come copper wire, £57 is a little steep.
Ive got a bucket, power supply and wire at work, just ordered some zinc sulphate for £5 off ebay.
Don't get me wrong im not expecting superb finish with this method, but for a first timer experiment im not keen on forking out nearly £60
