I've got to the stage where I need to sort the actuator mount for the turbo.

I'd definitely make sure its connected to the engine, and have it sitting as the T2 does, near the master cylinders.

Has any one got any pictures of how there's is mounted with no bulk head box please as I just fitted my engine and its no where near where I expected it to be! |

This is no good if the original mount is cut off, but its how I did mine

Not hardly - its in a 1959 Austin A35, which is an inline setup, rear wheel drive. |
