I've got to the stage where I need to sort the actuator mount for the turbo.
I've chopped the original off that was cast into the compressor housing!

Looks like might have to do as the t2 and re weld the actuator arm?

Or is there another way?? It's bloody close to the bulkhead (no box) - I could make a bracket to the bulkhead - but if the engine moves it'll change the boost characteristics...

The Saab actuator has a very long arm.

Thanks

no no no no, you need more boost! you can never ever come on here and say I have enough boost, that's just silly.

I'd definitely make sure its connected to the engine, and have it sitting as the T2 does, near the master cylinders.

They are a bloody tight fit! *hehe!*

But I don't have a bulkhead cut out...

And my turbo is clocked so the outlet is up.

I'm going to look at it again tonight and try and find a way to mount it.

I think everyone has it differently!!!

Not hardly - its in a 1959 Austin A35, which is an inline setup, rear wheel drive.
