I pick up vauhalls the most with french cars a close second make of that what you will

Just remembered the frog 1.6 tdi engine is a bit naff even when fitted to the volvo c30/s40/v50 range Crystal Sound Audio said:

Just a thought, the toyota yaris maybe??? Ive owned a petrol version and it was a great little car and never heard owt bad about the 1.4td version. one day boost will be mine!

Price range up to about 6k as its needed for work as well, the pug hdi engines i have never had a problem with but the renault dci i have, the other draw back for me is im looking for low tax as well and high mpg the toyota engines i have seen arent much better than the pug (slightly older ones) and i honestly havent ever seen a deisel swift.

Citroen C2/C3 1.4 hdi is the DV4 engine produced by FMC and PSA, good little engine, very torquey, only problem with them is the injector seals are prone to failure at some point, but it's an easy job to fix (and cheap).

Due to an over estimation on money side of things by about 1500 quid ;-S due to some unforceen things coming up and not being able to find a low milage deisel and finding out about a pay rise im going to stick with a petrol car and for the sort of millage that i do it would only come through working out cheaper after a fair while as the price of deisel is quite high. I have found something that seems to fit the bill bar one thing, its cheap insurance, good on fuel, has 16 valves, air con, power steering and a turbo! Yes a turbo, my mum has had one for two years a couple of people i know have them too never had a problem with them. Down side its french again.... Any geusses Drives

Actually, I will probably replace my DCi 120 Megane Estate with a TCe 100 Clio 3 Estate at some point as I don't do enough mileage to keep it healthy (and the bigger the car, the more crap you carry anyway)

My 02 plate Clio 1.5DCI has been a great car for commuting does 60-65mpg and £30 to tax a year! |
