got the car running today but it keeps flooding out to the point it stops !
should you be able to blow through the fuel reg from the fuel feed to the carb outlet without restriction ?
if i turn off the pump it runs so sweet till it gets starved

Yes you should be able to blow through the FPR inlet as long as the outlet is not blocked.

That's how fuel flows through it.

It would only become blocked if the outlet ( ie carb inlet ) was blocked by the needle valve or other blockage.
And also assuming the return port at the bottom is also sealed.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

Is the FPR turned to minimum?

Is there a restriction in the return pipe?

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
