Right, ive decided now that my car is off the road, and all i need now is a head, gearbox, machining, turbo, megajolt and machining, that im going to sell my engine, because i should have gathered the funds to finish/start my build by the end of april time.

I have an a-series 1275, Standard head, Gearbox is good but occasionally crunches into reverse, Brand new clutch fitted by myself (barely a few months old, fitted an orange diaphragm, new drive straps and bolts, New Ap road/fast road clutch plate, a fairly unworn clutch arm, new plunger and thrust bearing)
It has a Britpart electronic ignition kit fitted to the distributor, Fairly new ignition coil (also have a spare lucas sport coil for it) Fairly new Large impellor water pump fitted, Silicone rad top hose, kevlar bottom hose and bypass, new 88 thermostat, Head gasket isnt very old either. Fuel pump blanking plate fitted, Lumenition ignition leads, fairly new spark plugs, fairly recent FRAM oil filter, It has a inertia starter fitted that i have never had a problem with, And pretty new temperature and oil pressure senders.
Fitted to the engine is a minispares torquemaster inlet, HIF44 Carb (VGC), K&N cone filter thats very new, Stage one needle from minispares, Rolling road tuned at hi-tech motorsport near me on the 4th jan this year, at 64bhp @ 5600rpm.
I quite regularly take the engine up to 5500rpm and havent had a single problem with it, that isnt to say i rag the engine to death, i use the revs as they should be used!
The things i think i will be keeping from the engine are my cranked clutch breather, dipstick, my 70a minisport alternator and my radiator and radiator fan, and my ultimate engine steady.
This will also be sold with a budget fletcher LCB manifold, Rc40 link pipe with no silencer, and my very new RC40 Stainless backbox, with a 2.25" exit, as this is all part of the rolling road tune-up and i would prefer to sell it that way.

Other key factors to the sale is of course that the engine is still in the car and can be heard running, although the car has no tax & mot, nor an interior so cannot be test driven really. The engine will not be sold with the clutch slave cylinder as i need to take it back to minispares because of it being faulty.
Nothing else i can think of for now, recentish picture of the engine just before the clutch change after avon. I have the rolling road printouts for this engine, and it also ran a 18.2 at Avon (the car is around standard mini weight i think)

Summing it up the engine owes me a fair lump sum of money, but i know it isnt worth what ive spent on it as with all things. So i would appreciate peoples input to it's value. Cheers.

Also just to add, the red engine paint must be worth some moolah! Ill even throw in the rest of the tin if i can find it *wink*

Also forgot to mention i THINK this is a 3.44 diff, standard cam, and its a fairly leaky engine, but i think most of this is from the gearchange oil seal, i have a new one to fit but i havent got round to doing it yet. And i have a selection of random gaskets and seals ill throw in that i have for it ive never got round to fitting too.

No mate, not at all, that sounds fair to me but ill just see what others think before i settle on a price. Its far better imo than some junk on ebay that easily goes for £350 and isnt seen running!

Anybody else like to hazard a guess as to its value?

Everything minus the clutch slave and alternator going with this now, need it gone asap...

I would have though about 500 too..

Although a quick recommendation if I may.. Perhaps look at your grammar and advert layout when the time comes to list it. Your post is very difficult to read. Kinda feels like a load of random thoughts you have about the engine. with no structure.

Hope you don't find this offensive as I will be open to admit I am not the best at English either.
