Hi guys,

How deep do I need to make piston cutouts for non interference 1293cc engine with k1100 16v head and rs cams

Australia oi oi oi!

5.5 mm from memory/ talking to people about this conversion and with alot of clearance to clear valves.

i could be totally wrong just what i have been told.

Install the cams in the head, and set the valves at full lift, then measure, simple. Add a little for clearance, The gasket will then provide the rest of any clearance to give you a clearnace type engine.

Question is, are you worried about timing belt failure?
