Took the mini for an mot and first drive today and all seems to be good and the mini is running sweet but i dont seem to be getting any boost. I can rev right up to about 4k but nothing seems to be kicking in and i cant hear anything from the dumpvalve. Also boost guage dosnt seem to be moving at all though i think that might just be a faulty guage. Has anyone got any ideas?? Please help.

I'd start by looking at the wastegate.

i have also noticed it seems to have used a fair amount of fuel for the short distance i drove.

Wastgate not staying shut I recon make sure it's hard shut, extend the actuator adjustment a hols with past here it clips on to the wastgate then refit the actuator to the wastgate this will make sure it's closed properly. Then up the preload till the desired boost is reached.

Think im gonna give it 500 or so miles then get it setup on the rollers. Gonna have to get the camber/caster set sooner though as it seems to be a bit twitchy. Boost seems to kick in at just over 3krpm, does this sound right?.

Get it on the rollers if you are unsure on the fueling. It'll help bed the rings in anyway. *happy*
