i can't think of anyhting worse than a TI bolt gnarling up on a TI washer, thats one sure way NOT to get the correct tension into a bolt .

and that one looks a bit rounded off.. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I know the flywheel generally secures on the taper.
9.85 @ 145mph

Aluminium wheel nuts were used on the old aston Martin Vantage, I know some of these models were pepped up to 600bhp with no problems from the nuts. DB9 had titanium wheel nuts torqued up to 120 lbft and never a failure I seriously doubt it! |

If we considder that lots and lots of aftermarket wheels are supplied with stain less steel whel nuts, and this stainless steel is free cutting 303 i think a good quality 2014T6 or better still 7075 T6 alumiunium alloy will be no problem used on a mini,
