hello chaps ,

i just aquired this for free , no power cord or tranformer, it uses 29v and 9v feed . i wondered if anyone had any experience with them ? ithuoght it would be cool for printing graphs etc .

Good lord I had one of those back in the early nineties. My question to you is this where are you going to get new pens from when they dry up our run out? Thats the reason I binned mine.

As far as I'm aware most modern inkjet printers will probably far outperform a plotter. If you can get it going for nowt Robert then go for it, but I certainly wouldn't spend any money on it.

You will probably need a generic HPGL1 driver for it. Some of the HP plotter drivers may work OK.

Your software will also have to be able to support plotters. Not sure how it will cope with standard windows printer drivers.
