I've decided I'm suffering from this condition that could best be described as taking something that is working completely fine, and then buggering about with it to maybe gain 9/10ths of naff all, at the expense of having to completely rip it out and revert to the original set up.

I had to change my fan belt which is nothing unusual, then decided that the alternator could be mounted closer to the block so set about doing that - now having completed the tasks I should have refitted the side radiator and the job would be done.

I have now decided that with this little extra clearance I should refit the mpi radiator that I concluded last summer was marginal at keeping the car cool, but with the fan sucking rather then blowing as it moves more air sucking rather then blowing, which could tip the balance to cool rather than hot.

I can't understand why I don't just refit the working side mount set up for the sake of maybe 1 hp consumed by the mechanical fan.

Anyone else find themselves doing silly things like this?

OTD is what keeps us all going -especially when , like me, you are at an age when a warm fire and a book can look tempting in the winter.
I have taken on a complete new project alongside the never ending "development" of the A35.

I get like that sometimes, i get very bored when i have nothing to fix, then end up doing something completely pointless because it more than likely ends up coming off/out at some point.
Im terrible for audio stuff though. Forever messing with it
