I have a problem with my ignition switch. Basically it's fooked. Connection is a bit random in each switch position and it needs attention.

Way I see it I have a few options.

1. Replace just the electrical switch bit at the end of the barrel. (ADU6025?)
2. Replace the lock and switch assembly. (BHM7107) £60! and a mess about drilling and getting the old one off the column.
3. Replace the steering column and barrel. £45 on ebay... unless someone has one on here..

Anyone done any of these? Is it easy to get the electrical bit off the lock? Or does someone have a column/lock/key for sale?

The shear bolts are piss easy to remove. Drill the center of the head with a 4mm drill, then drill down that with a 10mm drill until the switch falls off the column. 5 minutes max

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
