i have old s brakes that require a over haul whats best way to clean the casting. ie calliper. beed blast them????????

thats what i did, they came up fekin bueatiful, i'll try get some pic's. I also zink plated the disk's, its 2 stop the part that doesnt come in contact with the pads from rusting, i should get them back from the zink platers within the next few day's.
