sorry for the really stupid (and hopefully easy to answer) question but just cant get my head around fitting this exhaust:

i cant seem to find any fitting kit for a 2" exhaust and this exhaust doesn't have a hanging bracket so just confuses me even more, if anyone knows what brackets and other bits i need it would help me so much as fitting this is the last thing i need to do to get my mini back on the road

cheers all

Call Maniflow and ask for the centre mount bracket and rear mount bracket. theyre similar to the standard earlier mounts

I seriously doubt it!

Im pretty sure you would need something similar to this chap. Double check the sizes and what you would definately need!

(Taken from http://myminiproject.co.uk/lucy/mini41.html)

Looking at the back of the mini:

Rear mount

Front mount

Then the clamps go around the exhaust and over the curved bracket, and tighten up, job done!

A Haynes manual will show how its done

You want two of these for the rear mount

http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=...id=36506&title=

And one of these for the centre mount

I seriously doubt it!

carlzilla seriously thank you so much for the pictures, looking at them just makes it all make sense, thought i recognized the parts as remember ordering them for an old mini i had and not needing to use them so after searching the garage and having no joy i ended up finding them under my bed of all places so have all the right bits to get it fitted, thanks again

For what it's worth, I used a jubilee clip here rather than the exhaust U-bolt bracket, just looked a bit tidier IMO (and it's been more than up to the job supporting a 2" Play Mini system)

Not a problem!
Pottsys jubilee looks far tidier! Almost un-noticeable infact, but im guessing that's a slightly upper class stainless jubilee as opposed to the standard jobbie? *tongue*

Have used jubilees there in the past. Always been fine and as Potsy says, much neater.
