We could do with a little more info. If you are running a pre engaged starter, 2 or 3 clocks in front of the driver and carbed then a loom from the late 80's early 90's would be what you're after. Easy to modify for an inertia starter, and other bits and pieces if need be.

I have a loom from a '78 central clock car. It's in a bit of a state, but should be OK with a little work. Looking for a tenner for it.

standard starter motor could be either of the two, Andy's loom is a very good start though, you may need to faf about a little to fit a pre engaged on that loom as it should be for inertia.
It sounds like there's things you need to catch up on, everything you need can be found via the search or asking on here. Good luck!

In that case why not study wiring diagrams and make your own? The standard loom is awful.

Has anybody got a full wiring diagram that incorporates megajolt? I mean alot of things would still use the same wires right? Things like the starter motor?

Mine is not mpi. it has fuel injection connections on the loom, but you could easily adapt them for megajolt or megasquirt
