I suppose you could add a toggle switch down to earth to substitute the handbrake? On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I haven't got one but, Red should be permanent live, Green should be on with the 2nd click of the ignition powering the coil, blue should be on with the first click of the ignition and it sounds like you can earth the handbrake one permanently. Think of it like this. The permanent live keeps it on when everything is off, the accessory when turned off, tells the timer to start operation, and the ignition feed powers the coil when the key is out, then after the set time turns off the ignition, turning off the engine as if you removed the key. The handbrake is probably a safety feature, so if the handbrake isn't on then the timer doesn't operate so the car doesn't run away! On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

id wire the ignition to the cars loom after the switch, should be white on the later looms, not sure if earlier looms share the same colour On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Does that mean I've got to name all the wires in the loom I'm making? That's going to take ages! On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Take turbo timer and put it back on eBay then just let your car run for a minute before getting out. Simples! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
