quick easy question

just about to strip a gt17 was wondering if there's any technique to undoing the bolts that hold the turbine half to the main cast body, as ive had trouble with bolts shearing on t3's.

atm ive sprayed with wd40 but wondered if it was worth getting some heat on it?

cheers

Edit: misread!

Try and get some heat on the casting around the bolts, but try and keep the heat off the bolt heads.

If they don't budge with heat then, it'll probably be a case of drilling them out. *oh well*

They've always been easy to remove on mine. If they don't budge a bit of heat will help.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Hot side bolts where seized in on the upside down skip's GT17 as where the manifold studs in the flange area...
