Hi Everyone,
First of all ill mention that i am from Israel (it will become more relevant later on in the story)

I have recently purchased a new set tires for my Wheeler's (10X6), and the set i bought was Yokohama A032R 165/70/10.
Only later i found out (unfortunately after the tires already arrived to the customs) that in my car's log book the only tires i can fit are 145/10".

In Israel fitting other tires is a big issue (stupid rules), and the "bible" of Tyre sizes is "Autodata".
The records in Autodata only allow 145/10" and 12" (can't recall the exact size for the 12").

Currently i am looking badly for any type of documentation that can prove that 165/70/10 is approved by the car manufacturer, and since there isn't any manufacturer i need the members assistance in finding any technical reference that could assist.

All help is welcome, and I am willing to pay for the information if any one wants troubling fees.
Thanks,
Naor

What size tyres did the Mini 1100 Special with standard fit 10" alloys come with? If it was 165/70/10 this could be your get out of jail card.

You could also try an original BL Handbook, I seem to recall that it lists 165/70/10 tyres. I don't have one to hand right now but can probably look on out later

Thanks for the assistance, i think ill go with the mini 1100 special. if someone has the technical specifications (from the manufacturer) it would be awesome (Wikipedia is not acceptable by the MOT).

Try Heritage; they are the ones who keep all the old build info and issue the heritage certificates; There is a charge but there is a specific seach for technical info so it could well be worth a call
