Sheffield South Yorkshire GB.

Would like to fit an electric heater switch does anyone know of one I could use, I saw one fitted to a guys mini, but he did not know what car it was from..

I should have said electric heater tap, there must be one out there that was fitted to another car, that could be adapted to fit inside the mini

Do you mean the under bonnet valve that turns on/off the heater matrix?

If so I don't know of an electric one, but I do know what you are talking about.

Why do you want to change it?

dont like the standed setups, and would like to do something different. I know there is one of those elec- taps out there, Ive seen one

That type is cheap and easy to get, sadly they are also CRAP, our gerties old Fiesta went through about 1 a year.

i have wanted to do this for ages as well

Ford Fiesta and Ford Ka Heater tap.

This is a BRAND NEW electronic controlled Heater tap that is fitted to all the following vehicle applications .

Ford Fiesta- 1994-2001 - MK including Xr2i - 1.8

Ford KA - 1994-- 2001

Replace original part numbers

96FW-18495-BD

This was cured back in 2007.

Check the part number printed in white on the top above the hoses on the engine bay side. If they don't start with the digits '7N21' go and buy one that does.
