A standard kitchen worktop is 600mm deep, has anyone got any idea where I can get them 650mm deep? or specially made?

Cheers

I seriously doubt it!

It is laminate that Im after, on Google I can find lots of solid timber suppliers. Problem is the washing machine and dishwasher stick out from under the counter and are not flush with the cupboards, its bugged m ever since I fitted the kitchen so would like to change it a bit to tidy it up

I seriously doubt it!

Unfortunately not Tom, the sink waste comes behind the dishwasher and cant go any other way.
I am looking at the double sided tops as a possibility.
I did consider moving the tops and cupboards out and filling the gaps with frosted glass with some LED lights underneath but could be too busy looking

I seriously doubt it!

you can use a breakfast bar top which are typically 900 and cut the back off to suite - thats waht we did on one of our wall runs but it isn't the cheapest.

have a look for a laminate manufacturer locally though as they can usually do a special for you.

The other option is solid wood - doesn't sound cheap but could end up being the same as a breakfast bar laminate. Plenty of people I know Have been pretty successful using the Ikea junkers type tops altghough they are only 30mm thick
