As part of a general discussion between competitors over a few seasons there are plans to submit some proposals to the MSA Speed Committee regarding Modified Production Cars and how the rules and regulations could be altered to make this Category more accessible to a greater variety of Modified Cars.

There is also a general survey/questionnaire running on a number of different Forums , If you have any interest in Modified Cars , Motorsport etc please take a couple of minutes to complete it .

These proposed rule changes are in favour of ANY Mini over 1400cc wishing to enter Sprints or Hillclimbs

These proposed rule changes effect ANY Turbocharged or supercharged Classic Mini over 1000cc wishing to enter a Sprint or Hillclimb

Currently you would have to compete with the Sports Racing Cars and other exotic Specials



With the proposed changes you would compete with other Modified Production Cars

Done, i want to try hillclimbing when my car is done, but i dont want to be restricted to 1000cc turbo just to be eligible as its being built for more than just hillclimbing.
