has anyone got a 2.9 final drive crown wheel and pinion please good condition as its going to get a battering.oh require a heater take off tap like this one would be great

i will have a 2.9FD for sale when i take my engine out of the car. (which will be in january) ?

forgive my lack of knowledge on the gearbox tech but I think you'll need the bearing retainer to suit as the 2.9 pinion is bigger and needs a bit more clearance

had not thought of this idf anyone could conferm or just clarify would be great

You're thinking of the 2.75.

Standard A+ retainer fits on the 2.95.

I guess that there is more than one model of retainer.

All my boxes are the DAM5626 with the later three hole retainer and that fits over the 2.95. It also fitted over my 2.75 although there was very little clearance.
