I'm using a standard 1.3 carb mini at the moment and slowly its started to lose all its power, till last night it gave up the ghost, it still just about starts but hardly can move its self. When it was running it wasn't sounding like it was firing right but it didnt sound like it was just happening on one cylnider sounded like them all, In the past the car has had new plugs and leads regular, and the other day i cleaned the rotator arm. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this and where would be the first place to start? Its the type module on the dizzy do these ever cause probs? Be greatiful of any ideas cheers |

I would try a compression test for starters as this could show up any problems along the lines of piston rings, valve seats in case its been run on unleaded without the hardened seats. |

Well basicly the exhaust is leakin on that crap clamp and the air box was sucking all the crap up and completely bloked the air filter and in turn blacked the plugs so all it needed really needed was new plugs and me to stop being lazy lol cheers for not making me feel to bad |
