Some of the glaring errors in the "articles" are hilarious.

They didn't even get the weight right, 37 Ton in actual fact.

I had a very cold few hours organising a mobile crane to get it back on its trailer, the blame of the incident was the doctor in a car coming the other way, who stopped for the Wide Load escort vehicle, then decided he coulkdn't be arsed to wait, and carried on, causing the low loader which was doing approx 5 mph at the time from the tacho, to emergency stop. The chains broke and so the ladle slid off. Said doctor stopped and admitted liability at the scene to the Police, so his insurers will have a nice bill coming for crane hire etc.
The transporting firm have been tasked with getting some calcs done to ensure the chains are suitable, but even assuming stopping at say 1 G, 37 ton is a lot to restrain.

Sounds like the Doctor has a case of the " I'm speshul" syndome, and "why should I wait!" attitude.

That would not have shifted this ladle, it was a 225T mobile crane that came to do it!
