anyone got handy or know off the top of their head the width of a mini dash and also the height (i understand it varies through the dashboard i wanna know the tallest bit) NO LONGER A <3 lover of BOLT-ON plastic <3 .... (and DOUBLE proud of it) |

i've got a walnut dash in front of me, width at the bottom is 119cm, width at the top is 114cm, and the highest part is 17.3cm.

cheers mate ... the perspex i have is 116cm wide ...... 3 centimeters short ... anyone reckon i can still pull something out the bag with a little creativity? or will i need the full 119cm width? NO LONGER A <3 lover of BOLT-ON plastic <3 .... (and DOUBLE proud of it) |

well the material is about 50cm deep, maybe more! i just cant believe it is 3 cm too short, i'll work something out! NO LONGER A <3 lover of BOLT-ON plastic <3 .... (and DOUBLE proud of it) |

Why not make some tidy looking brackets out of stainless or alloy at either side, e.g. make them a "feature" of the dash. Then you will also lose your 3cm gap?
