anyone got handy or know off the top of their head the width of a mini dash and also the height (i understand it varies through the dashboard i wanna know the tallest bit)
i got some perspex earlier but it is only 116cm wide and i'm not sure its going to be wide enough.

i've got a walnut dash in front of me, width at the bottom is 119cm, width at the top is 114cm, and the highest part is 17.3cm.
hope this helps.

i reckon its possible, as its only 1.5cm each side, and thats at the bottom as well, maybe you could make up the extra bits with the pieces that you remove for dials etc..if you see what i mean? should hardly notice at all.

Why not make some tidy looking brackets out of stainless or alloy at either side, e.g. make them a "feature" of the dash. Then you will also lose your 3cm gap?
