hi all, i've recently been completley re wiring the mini with new blade fuse boxes and alot more fuses everything is alot safer now and will be easier to track any faults if they occur as everything has its own fuse... however i've been using this plastic mesh that acts like a chinese finger trap to cover it all as i hate electrical tape however the mesh is plastic and quite glossy and not as nice looking as i first thought... does anyone have any other solutions for making wiring look neat? i dont like the spiral wrap much either

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

I concur, propper loom tape is what you want. It looks like electrical tape, but does not have adheasive on it, it just wraps round in a satisfying way and then you just tape the ends. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

I've just been heatshrinking the wiring loom for my EDIS 500 for the throttle bodies and im REALLY liking the individually wrapped wires. Each pair of injector wires is done so 4 wires to that and with the heat shrink being quite small its really holding them tight and giving a nice effect with twisted wires |

I use the felt (anti vibration) tape on mine. Looks really neat. It can be unwrapped and wrapped back up several times without losing its stick, and doesn't leave a nasty sticky residue on the wires. lol https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

You can buy the expandable sleeving you describe in various colours etc. it is by far the neatest solution and still leaves the loom very flexible. 9.85 @ 145mph

I've been using heat shrink on the ends of that loom sleeve but it doesn't stay on very well and it's the end of this sleeve that's fraying and looking crap i'l persevere and try some propper loom tape around the ends of this stuff thanks guys Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet
