But do remember that if it is a turbo head the exhaust guides will be a different internal diameter to accommodate the thicker(sodium filled) exhaust valves. |

Ok that's great thanks. Which guides do people recommend please? Looking on mini spares there are a few different types? The head will we used on a pocketed 998 which eventually will be force inducted :)

If changing valve guides you WILL HAVE TO regrind the valve seats. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

And you will need to open out the chambers to 28cc for use on a 998, assuming the pistons are flat topped. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

28cc and flat topped pistond will give you 9:1 ish which is ideal for turbo but a bit low for na. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
