I saw this the other week and though a few were missing, but looking at the dates I think that the accidents were outside of them.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

But over here at least. It does go to show the total bullshit speed camera placements.
90% of them are where there has never been a fatal accident.

Most over here are on minor roads. Weird when an FOI request stated they dont place speed cameras on rural roads because no accidents happen there LOL

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

That argument could then also be that the cammera is there because there have been several serious accidents, but there have been no fatal accidents, since the cammera was errected. Not that there might not have been any fatal accidents ayway whether the cammera was there or not. They will play the statistics to their own tune. They might also, like the above web page, only show statistics between certain dates, which more often than not takes the results out of context.

You can make statistics show what ever you want them to show, more so when taken out of context

Betwix Harrogate and York

Looking at the data it would appear that the accidents are far more widespread over a single road, rather than in a particular spot.

so a speed camera is unlikely to be affective as it only covers 100yds or so of any road.

Also, looking at the data it was suprising how many were in the following catagories:

1) young lad
2) OAP
3) mid 30s biker

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

It would be interesting to know how many of those deaths were caused by dangerous/drunk drivers.
Locally there was a couple of young guys killed, which they have included, but it doesnt say that they were racing at excessive speeds in a 50 zone and crashed into an innocent driver.
