I've found some nice 90 deg angled Festo connectors at work that I was thinking about using in my manifold to hook up MAP sensor, dump valve, boost gauge and idle valve.

I doubt that 2mm will be enough for the idle valve. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

I doubt that 2mm will be enough for the idle valve. Why is that Paul? Initialy I thought it might be a bit slow as there is servo-ish construction with a volume that needs to be 'vucuumed' hence a larger ID would allow volume to be drawn out faster. However having a DV placed for initial boost dump then have the idle valve taking over, there should be enough time for the idle valve to pick up. Dazed and Confused.... |

Ready back the above I think I should have made more clear I ment the idle valve (part throttle valve) needed for a blow through supercharger set-up:

I was commenting on the idle valve. What you are taliking about is a bypass valve. If there is no flow, then you should be OK. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

You're correct Paul, it's a bypass valve.

I found that I needed 4mm to get my dumpvalve dumping. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

That's quite a bit larger then hoped for.
